✨ Guest rooms should feel like a home away from ✨ Guest rooms should feel like a home away from home—and this one checks every box! 🛏️ It’s warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed with everything a guest might need, including cozy, comfortable bedding. The style flows seamlessly from the rest of the home, carrying through that luxe Hill Country vibe. 🌿 From the beautiful views to the sparkling cork wallpaper, curated lighting, and even the ceiling fan—every detail was chosen to reflect understated elegance. Each project is unique—just as it should be. ✨ Each project is unique—just as it should be. ✨ And while this one was no exception, it was the first time I designed a backlit quartzite countertop… and let me tell you—it is GORGEOUS! 💡💎 Was it pricey? YES. Was it worth it? Absolutely. 🙌 There are a lot of low-quality options out there with minimal warranties, but the one we chose came with a 5-year warranty. Just know—if you run the lights 24/7, that’s exactly how long it’ll last. 😉 The manufacturer knew what they were doing. That said, it’s one of the best on the market in terms of quality, and I’ll be there to help when it’s time for replacements. With over 26 years in the field—licensed since 2001—I’ve learned how to spot the pitfalls and guide my clients through every detail. Sharing these little nuggets is part of what I do to help clients make informed decisions. ✨ It’s the little things that make a space fee ✨ It’s the little things that make a space feel complete. ✨ Every detail you see in a finished interior—no matter how small—was a choice. And to the designer and the homeowner, those choices matter. Have I had clients question certain details? ABSOLUTELY. 🙋‍♀️ Have some trusted the process and gone for it anyway? Yes—and I’ve yet to hear a single “I regret that.” What I do hear is: “Now I get it. I’m so glad I did it.” 🙌 But not everyone says yes the first time. And often, I’ll hear later: “Let’s go back and add that detail.” Sometimes it’s still doable—other times, it’s too late or costs more to adjust. As a designer, I bring experience and insight into what works. But at the end of the day, it’s always your call. This kitchen was once closed off by a massive book This kitchen was once closed off by a massive bookcase and a narrow galley layout that lacked storage, space, style, and function. 🚪✂️ We removed the bookcase and reimagined the entire space into an open-concept kitchen that feels brighter, bigger, and far more functional. We also took down the builder-grade bulkheads that were limiting cabinet height. By doing so, we added more storage and eliminated visual barriers that were making the space feel even smaller. 📏✨ You don’t need a large kitchen—you need a smartly planned one. With the right layout, cabinetry, and storage solutions, this transformation came out beautifully. 💡 Now that the foundation is set, we’re moving on to the fun part—decorative details and finishing touches.
