This kitchen was once closed off by a massive book

This kitchen was once closed off by a massive bookcase and a narrow galley layout that lacked storage, space, style, and function. 🚪✂️ We removed the bookcase and reimagined the entire space into an open-concept kitchen that feels brighter, bigger, and far more functional.

We also took down the builder-grade bulkheads that were limiting cabinet height. By doing so, we added more storage and eliminated visual barriers that were making the space feel even smaller. 📏✨

You don’t need a large kitchen—you need a smartly planned one. With the right layout, cabinetry, and storage solutions, this transformation came out beautifully. 💡

Now that the foundation is set, we’re moving on to the fun part—decorative details and finishing touches. Can’t wait to show you the finished look! 🎨🖤

When entertaining is a priority, designing with seating and flow in mind is a must—and that’s exactly what I focused on for this outdoor space. ✨

My client now has a dining area protected from the elements, a cozy lounge setup around the fireplace, a hanging bench, and built-in banquette seating on both sides of the fireplace. 🔥🪑

Plenty of room for guests, conversation, and comfort. It’s stylish, functional, and just the right amount of cozy. Perfect for hosting! 💛

As an interior designer, I get to work on all kinds of spaces—and Pups & Pals was no exception. 🐾 This project was especially fun because I love dogs, and my own pups are big fans of the place too. 🐶💛

The vision started with the idea of bringing the outdoors in. 🌿 For a space made for pups, it was all about embracing natural elements like wood, sunlight, and greenery. That became the inspiration behind the entire design.

We ran into some structural challenges, so I designed a custom faux living wall with integrated lighting to work around it. 💡 I spent days on a ladder, weaving the greenery into a natural, flowing pattern—but honestly, it was a total labor of love.

In this project, you’ll notice the subtle chevron pattern repeated in the glass backsplash, pantry cabinet hardware, and the kitchen island shown here. 🔁 It’s a small detail, but it adds depth, interest, and a playful continuity that ties the whole design together beautifully. 💫
