Sometimes, after living in a space for a while, it Sometimes, after living in a space for a while, it just feels right to switch things up—and there’s a reason for that! 🌀 Retail stores have known this forever: changing your environment can have a huge impact on your mental well-being. A thoughtfully designed, clean, and functional space promotes calm, clarity, and ease. 🌿✨ For this client, we installed beautiful white oak doors with honey bronze hardware for a fresh, timeless look. But good design goes beyond appearances—it’s also about how the space functions. Think: 🔹 Pull-outs in lower cabinets 🔹 Properly sized drawers 🔹 Mixer lifts 🔹 Pull-out trash & recycling These details may seem small, but they have a big impact on daily use and stress reduction. It goes without saying—as we grow and evolve, ou It goes without saying—as we grow and evolve, our homes should too. 🏡✨ This space was originally my client’s home office, but once she realized she no longer needed it for that, she decided to follow a longtime passion: getting back to the piano. 🎹 When she found this beautiful piece, it was the perfect time to reimagine the room to reflect her current needs—not her past ones. I had previously remodeled the space into a polished, organized office—complete with a custom glass antler chandelier and a custom barn door with antler hardware pulls. But transforming it into a piano room was just as fun. It didn’t take much to shift the vibe, but the impact was meaningful. The style flows seamlessly from the rest of the home, carrying through that luxe Hill Country vibe. 🌿 From the beautiful views to the sparkling cork wallpaper, curated lighting, and even the ceiling fan—every detail was chosen to reflect understated elegance. Each project is unique—just as it should be. ✨ Each project is unique—just as it should be. ✨ And while this one was no exception, it was the first time I designed a backlit quartzite countertop… and let me tell you—it is GORGEOUS! 💡💎 Was it pricey? YES. Was it worth it? Absolutely. 🙌 There are a lot of low-quality options out there with minimal warranties, but the one we chose came with a 5-year warranty. Just know—if you run the lights 24/7, that’s exactly how long it’ll last. 😉 The manufacturer knew what they were doing. That said, it’s one of the best on the market in terms of quality, and I’ll be there to help when it’s time for replacements. With over 26 years in the field—licensed since 2001—I’ve learned how to spot the pitfalls and guide my clients through every detail. Sharing these little nuggets is part of what I do to help clients make informed decisions.
